I read The Birth House some time ago, and I loved it. I can’t wait to read The Virgin Cure. I’m sure our local bookstore, Bainton’s, in beautiful Annapolis Royal will have it soon….they carry alot of local artists work. I know my parents grew up in a small NS rural community where there was one or two ladies who assisted the local ladies’ births. This book could have been written about my parents community. I enjoyed this book very much.
