"Ellie: An Inventory of Being" exercise & the "Ellie Found" story	This is easily the most requested and viewed of the resources I have put up for writers, teachers and students. Write your own "Inventory of Being" using Ellie's as a guide. The results never fail to inspire and surprise.
The Query Process	Breaking out of your writing room and into the wide world at large is a daunting task and the query letter is a key part of that effort. After many requests I have posted the letter that helped find me an agent as well as some thoughts and tips on the process as a whole.
A different way to think about creative genius.	In this TED lecture given by Elizabeth Gilbert, the author of Eat Pray Love muses on the impossible things we expect from artists and geniuses -- and shares the radical idea that, instead of the rare person "being" a genius, all of us "have" a genius.
